That's not surprising ! Stress is one of the main causes of exam failure. When stress in not efficiently managed, our cognitive functions are impaired, access to working memory is slow or frozen. Prepping for exams in not just about filling their head with the knowledge, it is most importantly about managing their Nervous System so that all this knowledge is readily accessible when needed, especially under exam pressure.
Emotional Intelligence, the skill of the future
In our technology driven society, the rise of automation is about to change the face of the working world. A new report - by the McKinsey Global Institute - predicts that by 2030, as many as 800 million jobs could be lost worldwide to automation.
The only area in which we, human, will still hold a major upper hand against our robot counterparts is Emotional Intelligence : understanding, motivating and interacting with other human beings, persuasion, and empathy. It is becoming critical that we teach these skills to our teenagers, not only to secure their place in the professional world but also for their own well-being and Happiness.

We are experts in DIRECTED NEUROPLASTICITY or what we call BRAIN FITNESS.
Neuroplasticity is the ability of our brain to rewire itself through repetitive behaviours and activities. We teach techniques to build resilience to stress, to boost creativity, to improve focus and concentration, to regulate emotions and to build emotional intelligence. We run clubs on a weekly basis, over a whole term, this ensures that the rewiring process is taking place so that these learnt tools, techniques and behaviours become natural and automatic. We are the personal trainers of the mind !
Our clubs consist of 45-60 minutes group sessions each week, with facts, tools, reflection and relaxation experiences. The immediate benefit of each session session is always relaxation but the idea is that students with weekly repetition build these neuropathways to live a happier life and to build a strong Emotional Intelligence.
